Mission

The Kennerly PTP is an organization whose purpose is to strengthen and enhance the educational and social environment of Kennerly Elementary. Its goals are:

  • To develop closer relationships and communication between the school and home by encouraging parent involvement
  • To expand the educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment activities
  • To improve the environment of our school by providing volunteer and financial support to progress the educational opportunities and facilities, which are not otherwise provided for within the school district budget.

Vision

The achievements of the Kennerly PTP can be measured in the cooperative spirit with which parents and teachers work together to share their concern for Kennerly students.

We welcome and include every family, staff member and administrator as an important part of the PTP.

We encourage excellence and supplement school resources through teacher financial support.

We plan, organize and execute events and programs which generate the resources to fulfill these goals.

We provide a forum for discussion and foster communication between parents, educators and the school administration.

We offer resources to the school that are not provided for in the school budget and are deemed necessary or desirable by the parents and staff for the support and education of the children at Kennerly Elementary.

We don’t exist to fundraise rather we exist to raise what we need and spend the rest of our efforts making our school a great environment for our kids and partnership for the staff and families.

We have fun doing it!
