Purpose of DOK:

To get dads more involved in the school community by planning and organizing social events that the entire family can take part in and enjoy.

Events (past and present):

• Family Hike at Powder Valley
• Tailgate at Flyer’s football game
• Back to School Food Truck Night
• Trunk or Treat
• Kennerly Night at the Blues Game
• Father/Daughter Dance
• Mother/Son Dance
• Dad’s BBQ

Projects/Purchases:

• Made wooden cubbies for five classrooms (2nd, 3rd and 4th grades)
• Purchased alternative seating (exercise balls) for classrooms
• Purchased coffee maker and tables for teacher’s lounge
• Purchased a washer/dryer for the nurse’s office
• Purchased a Lego Robotics (Makers Space) set for library
• Put together furniture for library
• Purchased decals for library walls
• Purchased coolers for field trips
• Purchased rockets for 5th graders
• Sponsor for Kennerly Trivia Night
• Sponsor for Officer Blake Snyder Memorial Golf Tournament
