Back to School Party

Back to School Party

Every year DOK (Dads of Kennerly) hosts a back to school party, typically the Friday before school starts. This is a great chance to socialize with other families and let the kids play! Bring camping chairs and/or a blanket and order dinner from the food trucks! New Kennerly families and incoming Kindergarten families are invited to join us 30 minutes before the party starts.

Kindergarten Orientation

A couple days before school starts is our Kindergarten Orientation! Kindergarten families will gather in the cafeteria to meet our Kindergarten team and receive some overall information. Students and parents/guardians will then make their way to their teacher’s classroom to drop off school supplies and receive a presentation from their classroom teacher. This is the perfect time for parents/guardians to ask questions. All kindergartners will have an opportunity to tour the building and visit their Art, Music, Gym, Library, School Office, Counselor’s Office and other important locations. Kindergarten students will ride a school bus with Mr. Thomas and Dr. Mach. Students will receive important safety information about riding the bus to and from school and during field trips.
